Pray for my Family

My Dad was in a bad wreck. He passed out, went across 2 lanes of traffic, hit a brick wall, swerved back across 4 lanes of traffic, went down a side street and hit an OG&E pickup. He missed any cars on the road, 2 cherry picker trucks, a flatbed with telephone poles, and about 20 workers. It took the paramedics about 10 minutes to bring him back to life! He's in the ICU at OU Health Center. He is slowly coming back. The wreck happened Tuesday and he just now id becoming lucid. They have to keep him restrained because he keeps trying to pull his tubes out and get out of bed. It's going to be a slow go to get him back to health.

Here's a great update! He's coming around nicely. He's alert and seems to be ok mentally. He's still on oxygen but breathing on his own. He's in a regular room and out of the ICU. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers!

Here's a not so good update. I went to see him yesterday. He had a unit of blood hanging up. The nurse said his hemoglobin was low. They took him for a CT scan while I was there to see if he might have a small leak in his stomach or intestines. Other than that he is coming around. He's lucid enough to flirt with the nurses and be his old cantankerous self. He hates hospitals. I asked him how his food was because he wasn't eating. He gave me the old reply of terrible. I told him he needed to eat or they would feed him with a tube. Not only that but if it was good, he would try and stay.
