Prazi and Prime

I'm on day 3 of prazi treatment for my 2 anthias which I saw white stringy poo. They have been in qt for 2 weeks .Now I did a 50% water change before starting prazi and today on the seachem badge I see it change color to .05 so I dosed prime and I might have added a little more a tiny bit more than the recommended. With prazi is this going to cause an issue? I read here that the two together have been known to have caused fish deaths? Is this true?

shouldn't be an issue. i run prazi with amquel in my ttm tanks for just the reasons you stated.

haven't had any issues from it.

Pretty sure the Prazi directions specify state not to use any ammonia binders (prime) and not to dose when ammonia is reading more than 0.0. I believe the medication can have an adverse affect from the presence of ammonia, even cleated ammonia

I would do as large a water change as possible or move the fish and redose the prazi.

Prazi is pretty much gone from the water in 3 days, but from the original post it looks like it has been one day.

Any water used should first be conditioned to remove ammonia, chlorine and chloramines.
