prazi pro and antibiotics together

Call Hikari and ask them, they have been great every time that I had a question. I know that you can use copper treatment with the Prazi, but have not tried anything else.

I've used Prazipro and MaracynII with no ill affects numerous times. I've also used Prazipro with Cupramine and Maracyn II with no ill affects.

I don't know about Coppersafe and Prazipro. I don't use Coppersafe anymore. IME Cupramine is superior to Coppersafe.

superior in what way? no way to test for cupamine. that bogus test kit they sell has soooooo many problems. i have never got an accurate result w/ it. i have never had any bad side effects w/ coppersafe, and the salifert test kit reads dead on with what mardel's dosing instructions say for dosage.

Less toxic to fish. Many fish that are "copper sensitive" tolerate Cupramine extremely well. I never had as good a result with Cupramine in treating for ich or velvet as I've had with any other. It is also not as harsh on the biological filter bed as Coppersafe.

Yes, they have had some problems with their test kit and as much I won't be without Cupramine I don't use their test kit. Red Sea Copper test kit measures it just fine. Red Sea doesn't go above 0.4 ppm, but I have never seen that as an issue in treating fish. Affective range is 0.2 - 0.8 ppm.

what reading do you get with the salifert? I use an ADI copper which tests chelated and get only .35-.5 with the coppersafe dosage while at the correct dosage I sould get 1.5 to 2. PPM
