Praziquantel in dt tank doesn't work

Hi all, I've dosed praziquantel five times in my dt tank for flukes every seven days but flukes come back after few days.
I'm almost sure there are flukes in my tank because fishes keep scratching against rocks and disease is not ick or odinium or anything else visible on fish skin...so I think the problem is that praziquantel could be adsorbed by rocks and its level doesn't keep enough level to eradicate flukes..
It is possible flukes or their eggs could protect themselves in the sand or rocks.
What do you think about it?

Did you turn the skimmer off? The praziquantel only is effective for 3 days. Did you dose correctly? I have used praziquantel several times with success along with Prazipro.

- Yes I turned off the skimmer.
- I've dosed 2,5 mg/l for the 2 doses then i've dosed 3 mg/l for the other three time.
- I've waited 7 days between every dose because J Hemdal told this here on forum:

RegalAngel,

For praziquantel, we dose at 2ppm (sometimes 2.2ppm) and then 10 days later, perform a 50% water change and re-dose. Another ten days and we do another 50% water change. We used to do this on a 7 day schedule, but found that some neobenedenia eggs were getting through the process.

- I' ve dosed Praziquantel powder

I don't know what to tell you about the praziquantel, could be a strain of flukes that is resistant to flukes. What else is in the tank invert wise? You may have to use another med to get rid of the flukes

Resistant to Prazi... not flukes
