Predator PDFS-1S skimmer

I would have searched for this info, but the search engine is down. Does anyone know how to set up a Predator PDFS-1S skimmer? I tried calling ALS, but haven't gotten a return call and their website is down. And the only info I can find online is for a regular PDFS1 not the shorty. Thanks in advance.

I have set one up what do you need to know

hook a mag 7 to the top with flex tubing and let it rip. It is a DD skimmer

I don't have the gate valve on the output, will it work without it? I'm running the skimmer off of an Iwaki 70 that is running my system with a 55g and 37g from the basement. I hope this will work, since I just plumbed it in.
