Ok just saw my Decorator crab carrying some babies some wiggle away but a large amount is still under her in like web arms lol. Anyone know what I can do to give them the best chance? I have snails pepp shrimp some hermit crabs.
I'm new at the hobby, but I would think you would want to be careful turning off your return pump. You dont want stagnant water in your sump, and poor water quality might be worse than high current to keep your baby crabs alive.
No worries I was not turning it off for long just overnight so the babies would have a chance to find there hiding spots. I have a filter sock so I will keep an eye on it so if I see any there I can save them.
I have a heater in my sump and main tank. Just didn't know how long I could keep it off for I know 24 hours is very safe but I didn't know what the max was
