Good thing the
Mrs doesn't read RC!
Peppermint shrimp can do both parts of the mating game, it's been a while since I've read about it but I believe when they molt, that's when the "female" is chased down and fertilized and then after those eggs hatch, the shrimp is male until the next molt.Oddly it looks like 2 of the the 3 pepp's are carrying eggs. I also got a cleaner shrimp and it too looks like it has eggs
The cleaner is so cool, within an hour of it being in the tank the starry blenny found it and parked himself right next to the cleaner. The cleaner went to town and picked the blenny clean.
The eggs usually make it to the fry point, the shrimp release the fry typically after lights out. They don't last long. If nothing eats them, they end up dying by touching rocks or the glass or later by starvation.

Sounds like everyone here could use a copy of Wilkerson's book! Haha. Good times.
-1 for me. Kirkendoll's book, not Wilkerson's! Doh!
