Woke up today was checking out the 120 and seen an atleast one foot long bristle worm poking out of a large rack I had bought :( He is figgin huge..

Wile I was checking him out I seen that my anthias had spots on him..crap..look around some more and it looks like my royal gramma is about to belly up from ich..gahhh

Also my pair of chalk bass are showing signs ..

man I have had horrible luck with ich..I can do without fish at all..my wife loves them *sigh* what a pain :uzi:

I feel your pain! recently went through ich also, lost my powder brown. I now have a 55 quarantine up with my black o's, coral beauty, lawnmower, target, and 2 chromis. Friday will be week 5 of 8, I also lost my shaggy green millepora from TRS, acropora valida, and a new frag of some acropora teal with red polyps ( unnamed frag from WWC from a recent trip to fla) I think when removing the rockwork to capture the fish, I stirred up some stuff. I lost a couple of urchins as well. Hope this goes better for you than it did me.

thanks guy..when i got home this afternoon all the fish are looking ok,I don't know if the ich showed up more because it was in the morning or what..

I know they all have it,I took all my zoa frags out of that tank last night and the fish were spooked with all the messing around, maybe that brought it out :(

I'm not going to try and catch them this time around,I'm going to feed them with treated food and fire up the UV for a wile..

There is a long line at the skunk cleaner today,he is a busy little guy today lol..

hope it turns out well...sounds like you may be on the upswing...which is awesome. Thanks for the update Todd.

From my experience todd the crypto surfaces in the morning and at night. It always looked worse right before the lights went off and when they came on. Any thoughts on how or if your going to battle it? There are a ton of opinions out there. If you want to know what I did and how and what I would change pm me im more than happy to help. I also have some left over meds if thats the road you take.

Sorry to hear of this Todd. :( Hopefully things turn around for you without any loss of fish and without the cleaner going on strike.

And a foot long bristleworm...? Ewww... lol If you share any pics of that thing please forewarn me ok? :D

Get some fresh garlic cloves crush them up and use the juice right away after you crush them. Let some food sit in it for a few min then feed. I bet pellets would work great for this.

This is the only thing i ever tried when my new tang got ich and it spread to a few other fish. I Made sure my water parims, temp, ect was good. The fish got fed this mix a couple times a week. Gone in 2 weeks and never returned.

Def worth a try, may not help the fish already going towards the light, But it will def not hurt.
