Price reduction for slave dosers!

Ok, my 2 cents.

Resale value is not an argument at all, why should GHL really worry about someone selling one of their units off.

They shouldn't; but the consumer will. I'd buy a standalone if it meant losing $50 in resale value versus a slave with $100 drop in value.

we have a simple solution for this:

the master can be operated as slave, this will be added in a future firmware release

so the user has the option to use a standalone doser later on a ProfiLux system

If I had known ... I bought 2 exclave dosing in December ... (and I did have still not received (GHL.de). Between that and Powerbar 6D PAB I received while 1 months after I'd had a 5.1 (Powerbar received defective, GHL took a month to fix it and refused to make an offer in exchange by sending me the new 5.1), it starts to annoy me GHL...

This sounds like a Win-Win idea. This also fills the current gap for people waiting for a "Slave Doser2". They can go ahead and get the Stand Alone now and once firmware is released convert it over to a SLAVE. So really this is a Win-Win-WIN!

The slave doser will take about 3 extra weeks.

How will the standalone Doser 2 communicate with a Profilux controller in terms of wifi connectivity, temperature, upcoming pH capability and level input?

Would it operate as if it were a expansion box and wifi will make the Profilux wifi enabled?

But after have asked on official GHL forum, GHL answered me they have no idea when…
And after 1 day they have deleted my question and the answer...
It is not the first time that they delete topic they don't want be public, in last two years they deleted more than six of my posts…
They think that by hiding things there is no problem? Pathetic
