pricing of coral/shells/rocks

Hi guys,
this is probably a weird question but I am trying to clean out my dad's garage and found a couple boxes of real coral/shells/rocks (lava rock, jade, etc.) that he has had in storage for decades. I would like to know how much i can sell this stuff for to help his retirement lol.
Could you guys give me a rough estimate.

Thanks so much

Honestly, not much. You could list it on Craiglist or Facebook Marketplace but don't expect to make any money off it.

thanks for the reply.
Darn, people have been emailing me about it on craigslist but i wasnt sure how much to sell them for.
I think i see them selling online for like $40-50 for one large piece?

If you can get a buyer to pay that much awesome. Realistically I don't see you getting more than $1-2 / pound of the rock / dried out coral skeletons.

Pictures 1 &3 have some coral skeletons and reef rock - maybe $1-2/lb. Picture 2 is freshwater rock and worth less than that although some of them might look ok in your landscaping.

If somebody offers you $20 for all of it take it and run.

appreciate it

Coral skeleton if large and mounted might sell at a craft show or flea market but not for enough to cover the cost of mounting and a table.

Does putting an encrusting monti on a dead skeleton of a coral like an acro give a similar appearance of a living acro once it covers it?
