Probably nuts for trying this.

On one side of the 375g I have my original clown pair, ocellaris. They are hosted nicely by the magnifica. Mature, female was laying eggs before moving.

Now, I have a pair of young orange skunk clowns in QT. Going to make sure they are healthy before transferring them over.

What is their preferred anenome of choice for the orange skunks? I have a haddoni on the other side and possibly an LTA in the middle. I want to have a host ready for them so it reduces the chance of wandering to the other side of tank and getting attacked by the other pair.

What is their anenome of choice, finding mixed results on the web or vague responses like carpet.

Yeah, needed to order some yellow tangs. Happened to be on sale. Going to introduce 3 simultaneously.

Needed to hit $150, crispa was $30. Problem solved. I'm going to work on them bonding with the crispa before going in the DT.

The sticky had more options for pink skunks, wanted to verify.

Mertens looks rare and expensive. If I come across one, sure. Not going to seek it out.

I'll be kinda shocked if this works.

OK, during a long power outage, added the Orange Skunks to the main tank. Everything's good from the outage.

So, kept an eye the next day. The Osc clowns kept an eye on the new additions, wouldn't let them near Mag. No real issues.

Last night, went by to check on things, and found the new pair snuggling in a what I think is a LTA. Very cute. I'll post pics later.

There is a Mertens in the for sale forums right now.

As much as I want to, going to pass.

Right now got one skunk in the Haddoni, and the other going between the LTA and the Haddoni. Ignoring the Crispa for now.

Moved the Haddoni and Mag away from each other. Solved all issues. More than enough hosts for everyone.

Woke up to this, Mag walked over 2-3 feet right next to the Skunks

Moved the Mag onto it's designed perch.

Took the Haddoni bowl and moved it to the far right. Problem solved.

My Mag is wandering since the power outage. I added installed a second XF-280 to eliminate flow as a problem. Set the flow alternate the gyre, good coverage across all 8' from the left side. I'm loving the gyre power heads, hopefully they are durable given the cost.

Anyway, let's see if the Mag settles down. Did a 20g water change. Seems almost insignificant.

Anemones that want to move are always frustrating. Hopefully it'll stick to somewhere shortly. I had an anemone take on a power head and we all know how that ends.

I've been running the XF-150 for over a year, no issues. I haven't even cleaned it.

He should, been very good last 2.5 years staying in one place. Need to find his sweet spot without any further issues.

Thanks for info, the xf 28o do seem very well built.
