Problem Alarm after cleaning

I got my wavebox right after you starting shipping again this year. February or March approximately. In other words not that long ago. I have two streams in the tank and they have been in longer and never had an alarm go off on them. Yesterday the alarm starts on the wavebox pump. I just disconnected it as I could not fool with it until this AM. I disasembled the pump pull out magnet, oring and upper bearing. Bearing did NOT appear to be stuck to magnet. No visible deposits anywhere but I gave the bearing a vinegar bath anyway. This is the new style drive unit which makes sense as it was shipped well after December when you introduced the new ones. I also verified hole in magnet was not blocked and pour a little vinegar through as well just as some proactive maintenance. .

I put the pump on the shelf and plugged it back in so I could watch prop spin. Prop spins at high speed. Unfortunately alarm is sounding as well. I unplugged and pulled back in at least twice but alarm is constant.

Think my driver unit has something stuck on that is telling it to alarm? Want to send me a new driver and I will return this one to you in same box?

I am sorry but I cannot ship out a new driver without receiving the old one first. You are close by and it would only take a couple days to handle this. Just ship me the motor and driver and I will return it repaired within a day of receipt. As long as their is no sign of abuse or modification and after I have verified the problem, which could be the motor or the driver or both, it will be covered under warranty.

What does the motor look like? The driver is easy enough to identify as it says "driver" on the side.

The pump portion that is inside the wavebox, I need to test both components.

You want pump and driver only correct? Actual box not needed, pump housing not needed, and the coil( ?) which round and very heavy is not needed.

Want me to change the driver out with one of the drivers on one of the streams and see if it still alarms first?

While waiting on a response I went a looked at this again. Looks like to me that the driver and the pump are all one piece. Without cutting a cord, there is no way to separate them. Is this right and is this all I need to ship back to you? A prompt reponse on this and I will ship it out. Thanks in advance.

That is all I need, the pump and driver, they actually can be seperated by opening the driver box and unplugging the pump inside. Just be sure the pump is dry or bagged so that water cannot get on the electronics.

Well pump and driver have been sitting out in the open air since June 6th. I cant see how there is still water but I will turn the pump upside down first before boxing and maybe bag the electronics not the pump. Heading your way via UPS.
