problem with acro.

i have 3 birdsnest corals (orange with green tips, ora green, ora bop} as well as a pocillapora, and a yellow stylophora. i also have a hydnophora and a cyphastrea coral. all of these corals are showing great color and growth in my system. for what ever reason, whenever i add acropora to the system, it always browns out or dies. i have only added three pieces so far and only one brown twig remains. i keep my nutrients super low and i have 6x39w t5ho lamp with ati blue+ 3x, atipurple+, aticoral+, and one actinic. my nitrates never creep over 10 anymore using api test kit. also phosphates undetected. i don't see why i would have success with other sps but none with acro and i feel like i am doing everything right.

Birds, Pocci's, and Stylo's will tolerate the higher nitrates which is why they're considered to be more novice friendly SPS, but 10 ppm is too high for acro's.

About 2-5 maximum for nitrates, anything higher, and they'll brown out on you or start RTN'ing
