problem with BTA split

I have a BTA that has split and both parts have stayed small and avoiding light for over two weeks. Is this normal?

Give them time, they should be fine.

I wouldn't exactly say it is normal. Sometimes BTA's split when stressed. If that is the case, it begs the question, what was stressing it before the split and are those problems continuing to interfere with the anemones health now after the split. Pics and water parameters might be a useful start for soliciting help on here.
