problem with magnetic holders

I can't seem to get much adjustment(aim) with my tunze 6100 while using the magnetic holders. right now I have them mounted on the oppsite sides of the tank and I would like to aim them toward the center, but theres just no rotating room with the magnets in the way. what should I do?

Their really is no solution to this. You can try to place thholder on the side rather than the back of the tank but that is all. It was necessary to restrict the range of movement so their would not be so much force in a direction that could seperate the magnets.

Hi!

I received the new connection parts for connecting the stream to the magnet. It has been extended by ~10mm allowing much more space for adjusting and aiming the stream. Part number: 6080.230
They have just been released here in Europe, I think I was one of the first ones to receive them though :D .

I would be very intrested in picking up a pair of them. Like the magnets but their is just not enough adjustment for the streams.

That's a pretty good question ;) . I got them from Tunze Germany. I called them a couple of months ago and spoke to a guy about the same problem we all have (or had :p ) with the magnet holders. Shortly after that, my 7400 was defect and I sent it to them, I wrote them a letter as well, asking if it would be possible to send me the new connection thingys once they would be released. They said no prob. and I was one of the first ones to get them. Guess it's Tunze's great service.

I don't know if I can get them to you for free, it depends if they will send me any for free. At any rate they are not very expensive and will come with the pumps standard in about a month. They are likely black in color but I haven't recieved any yet. Everything will start coming in black in about a month or two.

Free would be nice but I would be willing to pay a small fee to aim the streams where I need them to point. Is this something we have to order from an online vendor or can we get them through you Roger?

I have been working on a corner magnet holder..... I would bet that Tunze has also looked into it :) I think it would be a great idea.. Don't even want to think what the wait list for these things would look like!!!

I'm planning my new tank and was considering going with the 6010 kit and a magnetic holder. Tank is 36x18x22 and will be in wall. I was thinking of putting the stream in the back corner (as close as possible) and aiming across tank to opposite front corner. With this new connection help me with this angle or do I need to come up with another solution?

Thanks

I think it would work if mounted on the side wall in the corner but I don't have any of these brackets and I haven't tried it.
