Is it possible to mount a tunze 9005 inside a seaclear 55 gallon acrylic tank even though the top openings are really tiny? mr.maroonsalty says the 9005 comes with extension ferrals, will this make it possible to mount it in the tank? Thanks alot for any help guys.
They don't mount easily in acrylic tanks, it may be possible but it is usually awkward and not very attractive. Do you have a picture of where it would mount?
Thanks for the information rvitko, I've decided to go with a Bermuda HOB skimmer because of the mounting issue. I would've really liked a tunze but I hope a Bermuda will be just as good.
