Prodibio BioKit - Will start on Monday evening

ok, i'll start with this, i did the prodibio package, did ultralith, and did vodka, still doing vodka because of cost, never did the other 2 more than for 2 months. too me all of it is bsically the same except for cost, { vodka is cheapest } did i notice a improvement in sps color or growth ? well growth hard to say, but color i wouldnt put to any of the product's. any of the above methods work if done correctly, and my thinking is the corals got more color because it does help to lower phos, nitrates ect, but with having alot better water clarity meant better light penitration which allowed corals to recieve more light = better color, dont get me wrong i think all of them work but at different cost and with the lower phos and nitrates were the added benifits

Tank Info
30*30*24 corner tank (65 gallons) and 20gallon sump. So about 50-60 gallon water
Bermuda 3C skimmer (rated 100-300 Gallons)
Flow-2 Tunze 6055
Light-Radium 250 on Hqi ballast

Weekly 5 gallon water changes Using Tropic Marin salt

So my question is I just bought Bio Digest and Optim

I was wondering what I should do..i was reading through the tread on Rc but not sure. My plan was

First add Digest
then 7 day after optim
Day 8 Digest again
Day 15 optim again

And so forth until I hit 6 weeks

Or should I add digest and Optim in each week until I hit six weeks ..then go to 15 days after that.

nobody care REALLY tell if this stuff works unless you have 2 IDENTICAL tanks. one running with it and the other without it.
after careful reading, if this product does work you always need it in your tank then, am I correct?

room temperature.

i am still using prodibio i think its good stuff.

my water has never been so clear as when i use it. not even with ZEO.

I started using prodibio (just the biodigest and optim) 2 months ago and the color in my tank have never been better. I dose 1 vial each every 2 weeks in my 180. I did not do the 6 week ramp up. Just every 2 weeks from the start. I dose seachem reef plus a couple of times a week as my amino (and whatever else is in there) supplement. The colors of my sps were faded pretty bad for a few months but things are better than ever before.

anyone mix prodibio with vodka?

That was going to be my question. I think i have read they recommend dosing BioDigest every 15 days if you are vodka dosing. Anyone able to elaborate?

Biotrim is the food souce for biodigest, vodka is a carbon source for bacteria. I'm guessing user of prodibio dose vodka also.

need to check after dosing bio digest , the foam in my skimmer is gone.

Does it happen to any one of u ?

What type of skimmer do you have?

My venturi style skimmer does the same thing. I was wondering if more powerful needle wheel skimmers could handle oily water better.
