Product Questions

First of all I would like to thank Marine Depot and their staff for running such a good business. I have done 10+ orders (Well over 90% of my business) from them and have been happy with each one. They have even taken care of a problem I had with items damaged in shipping.

Now to my questions. I have been looking for a good algae scraper for my 92 corner tank. I have tried razor blades wich scratch the glass as well as algae pads, scrubbing brushes and recently the kent proscraper. All of which I have ordered for Marine Depot. None of these items will keep the coralline off the bowed front of a corner aquarium. So does Marine Depot cary another product that would work?

Also, I was wondering if Marine Depot carries u-tubes for external overflows. I can't seem to find them anywhere on the website.

Lastly, I was wondering why Marine Depot stopped carrying Seachem Metrinidazole (sp?) and started carrying Seachem Aquazole. I recently ordered 3 vials of the Aquazole and I feel that the Metrinidazole was a much better product.

Hello,

Thank you for your post, To remove corralline from your glass you may want to try the Kent Marine Pro Scraper for Acrylic tanks found here http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=KM2641 I have personally used this scraper on my glass tank at home and it seems to do a pretty good job. Unfortunatley we do not carry the U-tubes that you are looking for I would recommend that you maybe look into these types of overflow boxes found here http://www.marinedepot.com/aquarium_overflow_boxes_cpr.asp?CartId= these overflow boxes out preform any u-tube based unit.

Lastley we discontinued the metronidazole because the Seachem AquaZole is a metronidazole-based medication.

I hope this information was useful for you if you need further assistance please feel free to contact us at customercare@marinedepot.com
