You just need a cheap wireless bridge router that you can pick up at most Pc stores the profiLux ethernet connecton then plugs into this and this bridge is networked to you home router
I have a PIIEX+ (still not being used yet because build is still in progress), 3 Digital Powerbars, and a 4 port doser. That's 22 items/sockets total being controlled. If I wanted more controlled sockets, will getting the PIII upgrade kit and a PAB Powerbar get me 8 more outlets? The first 22 would be unchanged and the PAB PB would connect to the PAB bus?
upgrading to the Profilux 3 could in reality give you the ability to have thousands of sockets if you wished.
The exisiting sockets you have would stay at 18 plus the doser totalling 22
You then would add a PAB powerbar to the PAB socket giving you 6 additional sockets, it is this new chain that would provide infinite sockets if you wished.
The new power bars for the ProfiLux 3 have the following functions and benefits
1. Infinite chaining available
2. runs seperate to the ProfiLux plus II power bars
3. Will monitor currents load values on each PAB socket
4. Looks identical to the ProfiLux plus II power bar
5. PAB dosers scheduled for release in late 2010/11 can be daisy chained also.
The accessories are not released yet, you can pre order the upgrade kit, taking into account we are now looking at orders that are received in October being shipped in December.
The cut off date to pre order the upgrade is 30th october after this date the discount price will be removed.
Yep there is that much demand, North America has gone nuts for ProfiLux!
So a device plugged into lets say socket 2, you could see how much current that device is drawing, this is a great feature, especially for lamps connected to the power bar.
Michael,
i am at work right now and to be honest between two controlers i dont remember .
have so much devices hooked up
later on i will make a list...
GHL inform us Mid November right on schedule, there will then follow a role out plan over the 6 weeks following, people that ordered the earliest go out first naturally.
We do appreciate people that ordered later will have a longer wait, but we must be fair on those that have waited the longest.
