Where can I download the 3.04 software from , I can't find it on the GHL site.
The lowest 3.08 wat to do now------

ProfiLuxControl II, Version 3.0.8.1
There's gotta be a simple 1-2-3 way about this guys. Nowhere in site i can get the 3.04 software installed on my pg so I can connect the profilux II light thru the port an perform an update.

Hi
This is very simple but because your controller is so back dated with firmware we have to follow a set upgrade path otherwise you will not have control of your Ai's.

Well I will bring this back from the death---- Its been a month since this process started. I just got a RS332 directly from progressive and my AI - rs332 .
As per our previous conversations this is a SIMPLE process.. Well so far there's nothing simple about this .
My previous rs332 I was told would not work prompting me to obatin a new -- profilux specific unit, which I did but no go.. Here we are AGAIN.
Would you guys be so kind to guide me thru this process and please post a link to the functionality of the profilux light II in regards to running this AI units.
I need some info and manuals to run the units.

Another question that may very well help members of this community and answer questions ahead of time.
What are the limitations of the profilux Light II. Can this unit be used to control AI modules alone or does it have to connected thru the RS332 one at a time .
Meaning connect the powerbar thru rs332 plus usb, configure, then disconnect and connect the AI cable to the powerbar and the changes in programing will occur?
Is it possible to have full control of the AI modules with this unit alone w/o having to go thur the back and forth of connecting and disconnecting the RS332 cable?
Is there a way to expand this unit short of buying a whole new controller to be able to connect thru lan or continuous usb or rs332??
All valid questions that may help future users IMO.

The light II is restricted in terms of permanent connection to a pc when running Ai, every time you wish to change a setting you have to disconnect. The Light II is a great lighting controller and Tunze stream controller with a temperature control option also. But if you are looking for more control then I would look at the ProfiLux 3

splitting the port using YL2-1 so two pumps run off L1 and two off L2
The paired pumps will react as parrallel

Ok I gotcha.. so one YL2.1 to give you L1 and L2, then 2 more YL2.1's to split them so you can have 2 Tunze1's and 2 Tunze2's running.
So you can only independantly control 4, but up to 8 pumps running at the same time is possible (with 4 per port).
Am I understanding this correctly?

to have 4 pumps in one L socket you require
3 x YL2-1
2 x Tunze 1
2 x Tunze 2
= 2 pairs per L1L2 or L3L4

Utilizing the profiluxser cable I just obtained from progressive reef--- NO GO can't connect the unit to PC.
BTW Im utilizing an RS332 to usb adapter from belkin that has been updated to the most recent driver.
What gives? thx

Thx Garett for your patience and time my controller is updated and I'm well on my way .
After I play with the unit I may seriously consider using a profilux 3 to control my aquarium and moving away from my trusty aqautronica unit.
