As a Profilux User, this is what I want as a product.

Imagine an IPAD mounted to the wall that displays the following like on a weather station.

Temp, PH, Lighting %, etc (user changeable)
Feed mode button (with countdown timer)
Maintenance Button (with countdown timer)
light override dimming levers (for blue and white)
Ph and temp history button

My point being, can GHL simply create an IPAD app, let us download it from itunes, and have it work like all other IPAD apps so that the user is focused on the great content provided by Profilux and NOT worry about PLC6 or a bunch of "me too" unproven windows 7 tablets that may have different compatibilty issues from different vendors.

This doesn't seem that hard to do if GHL focused on it. And trust me, it would be a great user expereince.

Apps are already out there for Profilux some free and some charged, I would avoid for now the chargeable ones

ADQ+ottawa: if you are talking about the Marine Mad ones, they are very difficult to use. Are there any other apps that I am missing that can do what I want?

I would really love for GHL to put some real energy around this.

Plankton it would be really easy to do what you want as a simple custom web page to get the exact look as what you posted.

look at iView from badschwii it's free and it works on the iPhone/iPad and Safari web browser.

I went to their site using google translate but I could not figure out how to download it onto the ipad. I thought all applications for the IPAD had to be downloaded via iTunes...

Can you quickly describe how to download and install it on an IPAD?

you donw dowload it on the iPad it generated a few files and uploads them on the P3.

then using the web browser on teh iPad you navigate to the web url of your profilux like:

http://192.168.1.2/iphone.html?name=Guest&pass=123

Just some clarification... do you download it from the Apple app store? or do you download it from you pc to the IPAD as a file?

boboxx the ip you gave out is for you local network we need you wan ip

And yes you will have to change the IP to your IP. if you wan tto be able to access it from the outside, you will have to setup NAT and open your firewall (this is standard networking configuration and has nothing to do with the profilux)

The Ip I gave is a exemple only, I have mine alreay setup and working
