program PH for calcium reactor help

hi every !
I have hard time to figure out what i did wrong here :
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If pH2cal > 6.70 Then ON
If pH2cal < 6.48 Then OFF
If pH < 7.80 Then OFF
Defer 001:00 Then ON
Defer 001:00 Then OFF

the co2 is turn on when ph2cal 6.71 but turn off at 6.70 .
really appreciate for your help
thanks a lot

Change the fallback to ON and Set to ON. The issue has to do with the Set OFF though so changing just Set ON should fix it.

Ok thanks just change them on . Hopefully it work . Will see . Thanks for the advice slief

Don't do this, IMO.

Just start with 10 bubbles and 40 drips and see what the PH in the reactor is - if it is too high, turn the bubbles up 2 at a time... if low, then drips 5 at a time. You can tune a reactor really easily and you should probably learn how anyway.

You are going to get better output with a steady PH, rather than have it bounce around with a PH probe controlled system - .01 is not going to be sustainable since the hobby grade probe is not that good to begin with. I would let the mechanics do the work and use the PH probe to shut down and text if it gets below 6.5 or text you if it gets over 6.9.

Agreed, that's what I do. Calibrate CaRx to run CO2 continuously and only use low pH control if it falls below 6.2 (in my case, with reborn).

Yes that what I'm try to do now but my mean tank ph drop really low at night around 7.65 so I have to called it off .
Really appreciate for all the input
Thanks

The reactor is not the reason for this. The sand and rock will buffer when you get that low and raise everything back up again. I would suspect a bad probe or bad calibration. If it is really that low, then your home is most likely full of too much CO2 and you need to exchange the air more often.

My CaRx only affects my tank PH by less than .05, if that. You do need to drip the effluent into the tank so that any excess CO2 can blow into the air - folks who put the effluent under water can have low PH issues from this bad setup.

Yes my tank down basement. That is one of the reason I'm thinking of the low ph at night . I been try to open window and door lately. It did have some improvements.
The ph probe it came together with the apexcontroller that what I got not long ago ( don't mean anything) I already calibration like 2 time already . It's still read the same . I may try to get the new probe to see any difference.
Thanks for the input

You might have a reverse light cycle fuge in your future.

Put a fan in that windows on the nice days and try and exchange out 100% of that air every nice day for a while.

If you cannot figure out the PH, then a CaRx might not be a good choice for you if you are going to shut it off. It will need to run constantly to do any good.
