? Protein Skimmer for new FOWLR?

Planning a new Nano 14 - 29g FOWLR with live rock, and am wondering if it makes sense to run a protein skimmer as the tank cycles. Considering the potential hitch-hiker die-off on one hand it makes sense to get some of that protein out, but on the other hand it also makes sense that those organics will contribute to the ammonia spike to get the ball rolling. Opinions please
