Just posted out of concern on a mobile device but I now read they will puff up very large and then shrink to balance water chemistry. I just didn't think I've seen it this "puffed" before.
I wouldn't change anything drastic if you don't know if there's anything wrong with it in the first place.
Puffy anemones are usually healthy anemones. It's the deflated anemone you have to worry about.
I don't know what exactly your definition of a puffy anemone is, but post a picture if you can before making drastic changes on something you're not sure of.
Here is a pic of it. I've had it for well over a year by now. Hard to see in this picture, but the tentacles in the lower back part is more "normal" looking to me. These in the front and on top seem to be extra inflated, and I didn't grab a picture of any being pushed in by the current. What I mean by this is the current will push parts of these extra inflated tentacles (so I think anyway) inward and "dent" them. It's almost as if they're pretty flimsy.
