Pump installation question

ever think of putting a strut (piece of PVC ) putting minimal preasure between the two pipes coming from the sump, prior to the pumps to dampen the noise?
A little more explanation, please ...

Thanks

Hi Tom,
Could you fit something somewhere between your pump intake, and your unions? Slightly putting preassure between both set ups? This might offest some of the un even vibrations that are transmitting to your sump. It should deaden the sound / vibration by reducing the the travel length of the between the pumps and your sump.

Now I gotcha! Good idea - I'll give it a try.

Gonna be a few days before I can test it - but I will post the results.

I called Reeflo (makers of my Darts) today, and ordered 2 Snapper impellers. This will allow me to lower the flow through the sump dramatically, if necessary. You know, just in case. :) -
