Pumps or WaveBox

I have a 120 reef tank. what do you think its best, 2 Nanostreams 6055 or 1 Wavebox?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

You need powerheads, the wavebox is only additional flow to supplement the powerheads.

Yes, if it is either or, I would get the 2 6055. The wavebox would be a great accompaniment but you need a directional flow source to compliment it.

I like the 6060s or 6080s better than the nanostreams for that size tank. The 80s are a lot of flow though, depends on what you are keeping.

I ran 4 X 6100s on the multicontroller in my 120 and I think it was enough.

Well, I got a good deal on a wavebox, so I ordered it. i plan to keep a few non-Tunze powerheads in the tank for now and replace them for controllable Tunzes later. Thanks fo you advise

IMO, the 6055s are kinda a waste. You can get the 6060s or 6080s which push out more flow. (I know Im echoing Meisen). IMO, keep that wavebox, and eventually get a couple 6060s or 6080s.

The wavebox will not create enough flow for SPS alone. You need to add something for some direct flow.
