Purple carpet question

I have a large purple carpet in an established reef tank 120 gallon. He has settled and has eaten at least 5 times since I got him 3 weeks ago. After the last feeding on Monday he shrank down to 1/10 the size. He is not back to his normal size yet. Should I be worried? This is the very first time he has shrank since I put him in the tank. All other water parameters are fine

Thank you I am just worried.

Pics? is he expelling a brown goopy substance? because that is normal.... poop comes out the same hole food goes in. but any pictures would be helpful. hopefully he is just going to the bathroom!

He is not expelling anything. His mouth is only slightly open. I will try to get some pictures but I will have to use my cell phone. He is just not as big as before the last feeding. He is still firmly attached and in the same location.

If it continues then it is a problem. my carpet will shrink at night but will normally open back up fully within a few hours. If it is attached and eating then that is normally a good sign. Is it still deflated steve?
