Purple carpet!

There is a very nice large purple carpet in my LFS, very rare for the UK to get one.

However the mouth is wide open, you can fit three fingers all the way in and it's not sticky.

So should i take the risk( pretty expenive)as it may be another 10 yrs before i see one or is it dying or just settling from transporting?

I wouldnt take the risk. Usually in that case haddoni are goners.

That's my first thought and is why i left with a healthy red one. However the purple one was 10 times prettier and so rare.....i think only one reefer in the uk has a true purple haddoni

I have a purple carpet that I got from Bali and he's fine,great colors too. I would just keep a eye on it.

I would love a healthy purple carpet, just not sure this one for sale will make it
