i have purple digi that is about make contact with my sermantosa, so who wins this fight over turf, maybe i should moove the digi somewhere else ,thanks

+1 on cutting the digi. Sermantosa are really sweet and are beautiful acros. The digi will do damage to the acro if they do not work it out naturally.

are you saying the digi will win from experience? My moneys on the sarmentosa since it has longer polyps but i'm not sure

Digi is a much faster grower. They shouldn't grow into each other and the digi should grow around the acro or over the acro, eventually shading it.

They will sting each other, obviously, but there should be room to grow. In a boxing match, acropora species generally have a stronger sting that montipora species. However, with room to work it out, it should alter growth patterns.

Only time will really tell....
