Purple Hornets....

I found some in Michigan(I'm here on business)and I'm pretty sure they wanted $50 pp. I kInd of thought that was high. Im thinking about picking up an orange derasa from them though fairly cheap. There prices are all over the place. Lots of stuff if anyone is looking for something specific, let me know. I'm traveling back on sat. This place has troughs full of coral

I would try and get a five polyp frag for $100. That would be fair in my opinion. I don't like smaller zoa, or paly, frags as they don't have as high of a success rate making it.

I'm looking for what they call "Joker" paly's and would be interested in a small colony of Orange Bam Bams if they had one. You can email me, or just post back here if they have either. Thanks,

Find someone who'll trade with you, that's what I did. Not selling any yet though...

Prices go only as high as people are willing to pay, If no one paid these Crazy prices they would not be so high. Simple supply and demand.

Anything above $10 is too high.

6 to 8 months ago $50 but then came the red and blue ones.

Oh and yellows.

I don't understand why so many people can't seem to grasp that simple concept.

Well, LARRY, just because some people are willing to pay it, doesn't make it a fair price. I still can't believe some people can't grasp that simple concept.

I think you misunderstood my point. I'm not supporting $100/polyp for ANY coral. In fact, I think it takes a special kind of fool to pay ridiculous prices like that. I can't understand why people can't grasp the simple fact that if nobody was willing to pay unrealistic prices, prices would all become much more realistic.

Nobody forces anybody to buy anything. If someone asks $2,000 for a coral, and nobody buys it, I guarantee the price would either go down, or they would keep the coral.

It's fair, because that's what people with money are willing to pay. If nobody paid it, prices would go down. Prices fall because as supply goes up people start selling for a few dollars less until it becomes reasonable for the standard consumer.

That's the beauty of living in America. If I want to charge $10,000 for my limited edition hot pink boobies on acid chalice, I can. Between the person selling and the person with a fat wallet, it's perfectly fair.

i have seen them from online vendors for 10 dollars per polyp. I can't remember where, but they are out there. On the same site they had red hornets for 25 per polyp. I am not into name brand coral, or coral at all for that matter so I didn't take note of the site.
