Purple LTA Day 1

Well I went to ReefWorks about a week ago and looked around the new shop. Good stuff there! Anyway a bright purple LTA caught my eye and I couldnt stop thinking about it so today I took it home.

I looks happy for it being the first day in a new home.

It is under 2x175w 10,000k MH and 1 96w PC actinic. I do hope the color stays this vivid after it aclimates!

Well here are a few more pics. Funny thing is this clown has been in this tank for about a year, and never used any of the torch corals, frogspawns, shrooms or zoos as a host. I put in the LTA and BOOM he is all over it! Sad part is, I am going to be getting rid of him and replace him with a pair of skunks or caps! But it was still cool to see him jump right in!

How big is your Purple LTA?
I have the opportunity to pick one up here locally for $56 @ about 3 inches.

man you bought it!!!! they also had a great colored green one two.. i wanted them both lolz i dont think i have ever seen such great colors on one before.

oh well i just get ya to post new pics of it from time to and save a lil money lol.

yes, the green one is very nice as well, and I wanted that one too... But I will stick with one for now, see how it works out!

I would say it is about 6"-10" when fully expanded
