Purple Tang Dark Spots

Hello -- Does anyone know what my Tang is suffering from? (see pics) He seems to eat well and roams around the tank in a healthy manner.

That looks like the start of head erosion. Don't know about the dorsal fin. I can't remember why tangs get it though. Do a search on it. Good luck.

head line lateral erosion, HLLE, most feel its due to poor diet as the main cause. Mant other theorys are out there as well but it keeps going back to diet mainly.
