Purple Tang pigment loss Help

I have had a purple tang in hyposalinity for 6 weeks. During this time, the hippo, also in the hypo tank, developed a secondary septicemia infection. Treated with Maracyn 2 with no luck. stripped out the Maracyn with carbon and switched to Furan2. During this treatment the purple tang started losing pigment in defined areas. Now it is spreading and also had developed a few white dots here and there ( Not Ich) Breathing is fast and appears labored. Could this be a fungal infection? Keep in mind that this started DURING the Furan treatment and is getting worse. I got these pics which are not good but all I could get is the tail area as he is hiding. You can see the tail portion just below left of the clownfish. Same position on Pic#2.

If anyone can ID this or help I would very much appreciate it. I have been nursing these fish for almost 7 weeks. I can't imagine this is bacterial since he developed it during the Furacyn treatment. Thanks for any and all feedback. Mark
