Calcium
Mag
Alk
Get those parameters in the right ranges and the coraline will do it's thing.
Osu86: Purple up , and most of the stuff sold at lfs is junk! Like Oct2274 said, Cal. Mag. Alk. , and most importent live rock, with coraline on it. hermets and snails help spread it a round to. Water changes are all that needs to be none!
PurpleUp basically liquid sand, more expensive to buy than Alk/Calc/Mag supplements, if you keep them in line than you will have an explosion of coralline growth.
yeah they are right. When I set up my 60 gallon one of the the first things I did after it was all set up was check the calcium, alkalinity and magnesium levels and adjust it accordingly and the coralline started to grow within the first couple of weeks.
The thing about this gimmick is it works so people who have not tried other methods assume it is great. I used it for awhile. Had just as good or better results using two-part or kalk.
