I woke up this morning and noticed a fin break on the top of the powder brown and on top of my sailfin tang. The sailfin is not bothering the powder nearly as much but the yellow follows him almost constatly no biting just tail slapping. What do you guys think id hate to chase the yellow with a net and put him in the refugium but I don't wanna over stress the powder since they are normally not fighters

If no damage and only tail sweeping then u shpuld be fine once yellows point is made across. But if there are piercing and stabbings from yellow then dealth is on the horizon...try using the mirror trick or u may need to sump the yellow a few days until new guy is establish...my archillis tried to kill my sohal with the first 5 min to intro...had to take sohal out and sump damn archillis...I have 8 other tangs in my 210 and they all don't care bout newbies...good luck!

I had the same problem with my yellow tang and actually lost a tang because of him. I started hanging a mirror on the outside of the tank, facing in, everytime I added a new tang and this solved my problem. I would hang the mirror for a day or 2 before adding the new tang and then leave it on for a few days after adding.

Did you rearrange the lr and leave lights for a couple days when you added the pbt?
Can you get some egg crate in there and seperate them?
Can try a mirror too...

Other then the fin breakage on the Sailfin and the Powder brown they are all getting along much better today still a occasional spat and swat at each other but I fed them this morning and they are much more harmonious now. I'm assuming it was just pecking order taking place last night but i'm always nervous at first. But i'm gonna try out them tips and tricks next time for sure thanks guys.
