Alright, so i've been playing around with some of the settings in the water. I've moved some of the direction nozzels and I've seen some movement.. Maybe he just needs better placement.. right now i've turned the pumps off I wanna see if he'll come out for that.. if so I'll move him closer to the back of the tank where there isn't much current..

You aren't a parent, are you. Sometimes you can overwork a situation. Just let him b. Euphyllias will close on occasion. It's no big deal. The more you fuss with it the more it will close. Becomes self fulfilling.

I onyl messed with him for about half an hour just to see what was going on.. I didn't know they closed up like that for a long period of time.. He was inflating and deflating alot so I suppose I just got kinda nervous..

Just make sure nothing is blowing directly at it. They prefer billowing indirect current. It should open up pretty soon.

Is that to much for a 29 jbjnano? gal tank?
I kinda think so, I'm just not sure.. I can bring it down to two by trading in the peppermint..

I've been thinking about taking the Pepperment in and trading him in for a credit towards the Blood shrimp.. they are 40 bucks here :/

Ouch! They're usually $20-$30 here, depending on the season. I actually picked up a pair awhile back for $17 each. I knew the store owner real well, though.

Good deal I know they are expensive but I'm in bfe and m LCD is the only lfs with am hour or so range

Wow, that came out bad on my iPod.
My LFS has a monopoly on the area, there isn't another LFS with in at least a couple hours driving distance.

The lfs didn't get any fire or pistol shrimp in today maybe with their next order.

Yeah!!! I really would like one, i've been reading and they require a well established tank..
I'v been looking and it looks like two more hermits abandoned ship (their shell)
I don't know why they are doing that.. everything seems to be fine..
I'll run a test over this weekend..

I got 5 more astera (sp) snails yesterday since I ony had one left.. they all seem to be doing well!

I ordered some Purple mushrooms that I think i'm going to put on the rocks to the right..

I am really looking forward to getting a plating mont and possibly a green slimer..

I eally want my tank to to be colorful!

Nix the sponge. If that thing falls apart it'll crap bomb your system and kill everything. Some sponges are toxic - esp the brightly colored ones like the red ball sponge.
