Boost your buffer a bit. 8 is on the low end. If you don't have any 'buffer' you can do this simply by mixing in a level teaspoon of baking soda into a glass of top off water until it's completely disolved. Retest a few minutes after to see how much it goes up, then duplicate on consecutive days until it's up to 10. Based on the size of your setup, I suspect one glass should be all you'll need.

reefs2go is having a half off sale, I think I'm going to try the nem again and get some Zoo's. I hope they turn out well.

I think my Pistol and My Goby have become friends!

Anyone, here are some new ones.

Do you see what I see here?

Tanks lookin good so far although from everything I have read adding a nem to a fairly new tank is just asking for trouble.

It's the little things in life that make me incredibly happy.
My YWG and my Candy pistol have officially bonded.. My Goby has moved into the same "cave" that my pistol has been staying in since I introduced him to the tank. I saw my Shrimp today FINALLY moving some rock around now that he has some eyes on the lookout.
My Candy Shrimp has gotten HUGE too! I got some pictures of them together. I'm off to walmart to buy some straight edges so I can clean the tank a little better.

Question: I have water ready for a water change, should I do it so close to getting a nem (4 days) or should i wait a while after I get him?

Everything is looking fantastic, nice pictures! :)

Hey thanks!

So, for anyone that reads this I have a couple questions.
1.) Is there some kinda of trick to keep the substrate nice and white?
2.) Should I do a water change before or after I get the Anemone? I want the water to be nice and clean when he gets in, but I don't want anything to be "off".It's been nice and stable since my last change. (About two weeks ago)
