pyram snails

so its been a while since i had clams, but i still have a CUC

i woke up to turn the lights on but this time i decided to look at my CUC.. well, i found pyram snails on every single one of my snails.

there was about 8-10 pyram snails for every snail i found on my glass. i took out my snails and just took them off

does anyone know if they will eat the tissue of the snail? so far it seems that they were just stuck on their shells

If they work their way down to the fleshy portion underneath the shell, yes they will begin to eat it.

I have had the type that feed on snails, you need to manually remove them and check them every other day.

when is the best time to check the pyrams? i couldnt believe how many there were. would it be best to check in the morning like i did?

ive seen the snails dropping, but i didnt know why. i thought it was because of less food but i get a film of alage on my glass and leave the left side and back for them along with the days im busy with school

just found out i have red bugs so im goig to dose with interceptor within the next week. pyrams should be gone after the treatment (i hope).

snails aren't affected by inerceptor (if that's what you're using for red bugs...)
