Quarantine tank questions

Well I need to make a quarantine/hospital tank for a sick clown fish.
I have had a Eclipse System 5 Hex for a while so I am going to put it to work.
I am wondering this:
1. Temperature
2. Lighting
3. Filtration
4. What medicines
5. What salinity should the water be at?
6. Anything else I may need.

I realize it is to late for your clown....That stinks....However to try and answer your question.

A QT should be set up just like a main tank. The key is making sure the tank is cycled so when you add the fish you don't get a cycle that kills them. You can do this 2 ways. Keep something seeded with bacteria in your main tank that you can transfer over to the QT when you need it, or let the tank run and become establised for a few months before you use it. Easiest thing to to do is have a hang on filter with the bio wheels running on yor main tank that you can move over to the QT when you need it.
