Quarantine Tank suggestions

I’ve never had a quarantine tank and learned my lessons the hard way, this time around I want to do correctly and setup a quarantine tank. I’m going to have a mix reef with mostly SPS and really don’t want to introduce pests, I had a very bad vertimide snail infestation and don’t want to deal with that again.

Can the kind folks of RC spell out a good small quarantine tank list of parts that I should get. I’m thinking the tank is no bigger than 18” wide and 10” deep.

Are you doing a fish quarantine or also a coral quarantine? Fish is pretty basic in my experience. Tank, basic light (if needed) heater, I like sponge filters, others use HOB. A container with sand for wrasses and other sand burrowers.

If a coral quarantine, mine is essentially a mini reef tank (everything my big tank has just no skimmer and using HOB filter instead of a sump)

Ya, I’m going to do both coral and fish. Would you have a AIO suggestion that they might sell ?

I would keep the fish and coral quarantines separate. If you can wait…I’d do the new IM Cube and preorder it. 1 for each. Shop | Innovative Marine Products

Just need lighting and maybe a mesh top it looks like.
