Quarantine treatment for clownfish

I've had my clownfish in a quarantine tank for 4 weeks now. I never saw any signs of ich, but was treating as a preventative. I also used Prazi Pro for a week. So, my clownfish has been at around 0.45 with Cupramine for around 4 weeks.

My display tank isn't quite ready to accept my clownfish because it's not setup yet. I've read that keeping my clownfish in the quarantine tank for any longer can he hazardous. Should I stick some carbon into my filter to take out the copper? At this point is there no chance of ich, even if it's copper resistant? Can I keep the clownfish in the quarantine tank for another 2 weeks if there's no copper in it?

Yes, I would for sure because with the copper being at .45ppm, it's not effective. It has to be at a constant 0.50ppm to be effective. Also copper masks other illness, so I would get the copper out and see how it does or if it presents any other signs of illnesses.

Hm, so it's not effective at 0.45? Interesting. I read that even 0.45 is really high. So, should I put in the carbon? I want to completely get rid of ich, so there's no chance of him getting it in my display. What would be my best option at this point?

The best method for ich is the Tank Transfer Method. If you are not experienced with copper, it can be dangerous. Anything above .50ppm can become unsafe for the fish and anything under .50ppm is not effective. It has to constant at .50ppm for 21 days or 30 (forgot which one) for it to be effective.
