Question about Aquascaping liverock using Epoxy (While inside your tank)

hehe, it does look kinda funny. Good excuse to buy more frags to cover it :D
What is the branchy red thing at bottom right?

Thought sun coral too, Interesting.

Don't worry that white will get covered over very quickly. My tank looked the same for a month or so. Now if I didn't put the epoxy in there myself, I wouldn't be able to find it.

Hmm.. You may be correct - It looked so similar to my trumpet above I thought they were the same family.. :P

On the epoxy note: I still worry a bit about the stability of it and may use another stick to make sure that rock on the left stays put.

if its a sun coral its gonna need some tlc asap
you gotta feed them like every other day, they don't use the light for energy.

It only seems to open its polyps at night time and I've been using "Fuel" in my tank which has a bunch of helpful elements to feed corals - Hopefully its been absorbing some of that.

I noticed that it was started to open yesterday during the day for the first time until I epoxied that rock and it closed up.

In light of our new developments regarding the sun coral, I've moved it to a darker region under the plate to the right.

Will keep you updated.
