Hi,
I have some questions about Co2 regulators.
I have been looking around for a professional SS 2 stage or dual stage regulators here and some question come to my mind. They are:
1) What is the main different between a 2 stage and a 1 stage regulator even I found my workplace 1 stage regulator with 2 gauge can work like a 2 stage.
It was a No2 tank, when I turn the main valve on cylinder, it goes to about 1200PSI on guage. And at the working end, I can control the output when I turn the regulator knob. Isnt that working like a stage 2? Or is the main different here is it does not "hold" the gas when the regulator is taken apart from the cylinder?
2) Will a single stage Co2 regulator have the end of dump Co2 action when gas are running at the very end?
3) It look to me if I add good solenoid and a needle valve on the output end of a single stage regulator, it can perform as good as a dual stage? I mean as reliable?
