question about controllers

Hi Roger.

I am currently running a Stream 6000 with a single controller (7091). I love it, as I've said a million times before :)

I don't want to move quite the amount of water a second 6000 would move, so I've ordered a Turbelle 7310 kit -- because I'm running a competitor's PH for secondary water movement and am afraid of a PH failure and tank frying incident.

QUESTION: Can I just get the 7310 PH and an adapter for my existing controller and run both the Stream and the 7310 from the single controller with adapter? If so, what adapter do I need?

I've also ordered a magnet to mount the 7310. Does the magnet mount allow the PH to be swivelled so that if mounted on the back glass the pump can be turned to push water paralell to the back glass; along the glass? (hope I've explained that right).

Thanks,

Steve

The 7300 can be swiveled more than the Stream because you swivel it by turning the outlet of the pump, much as you would a maxi jet or any other powerhead. You could run both pumps off the same controller but they will be identical in function so both will be doing the same thing, you would need the branch adapter 7092.34.

Thanks Roger.

As usual, you and Tunze define good customer service with your fast and useful answers.

I'm going to go with the separate controller to add flow variety.

Steve
