Is the epoxy putty in the picture safe for aquariums. Please let me know, because I have seen that same brand at the local home improvement store and it is a lot cheaper!

Thanks

fwiw, Oatey and RectorSeal both have epoxies in the plumbing section that are not steel filled...I picked this one up by accident and never even noticed the label.

Like I said, I don't think it harmful....or at least nothing is happening in the tank or to the mounted corals.

Eric,

Great article. Also just finished reading your book (Aquarium Corals) and found in incredibly useful. Unfortunately, bought a Goniopora before I got the book, and now understand they are very difficult to keep alive. After reading the article, and your comments about Cyclop-Eeze, was wondering if this might be something I could use to feed the coral. If so, do you have a recommended application method? Was thinking maybe mix it up with a little tank water and blow it throw a turkey baster.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
