Question about McCosker'S Flasher Wrasse

Hi,
I am looking for opinion about that fish, anybody.
Are they "brave", meaning are they going to hide a lot, or they swim a lot over and around the LR?
Difficult to feed? I was thinking about male&female so male would not loose his colors and would flash a lot.
Any starting size recommendation?
thanks

I think it depends on what other fish are in with it. I had one and was out a lot but if bullied would not holds it ground

Well I have 2 clownfish, royal gramma that hates my led light and hides a lot (in my bigger 100gal reef tank under pc light she was out all the time) and my bellus angel that stays 2" big since I bought her (its a female) 5 years ago.
I would want smaller wrasses (around 2"), at some point I am going to bring back to life my 100gal reef tank or just set up my last, really big reef. But thats not gonna happen probably for at least next 2 years.
I went through fairy wrasses, kinda tired of them fighting among each other, chasing some of my smaller fish (gobies, blennies and firefish) so I wanted something different.

I've had a McCoskers in each of my last two tanks. Both were active and good eaters. Certainly not aggressive but not exceptionally timid. That being said, the most aggressive tank mate either had was an ocellaris clown.

Thats what I am worried about. Push come to shove I would remove clowns, they were bought for my twin boys when they grow up a bit (Nemo etc. :)), but till then I may have few more/different tanks :)

I have one, he is out and about often. However, they are deep water fish and like lower light levels. I have many overhangs and such where he will camp out during the brightest parts of the light cycle.

Any concers with having only male? Changing his behavior changing into female, changing colors (more pale) etc.?

I think mine's colors are good, he is not a terminal male... He is currently the only wrasse. I plan to add a couple more (male flashers, not any more McCoskers) once I get my 120 going. I've had him about a year.
