Question about Tangs

Would it normal if a Cuvier Tang attacked a Scopas Tang at the first minute of being intoduced in a tank. The Cuvier is 1.5" and the scopas is 2"
Is this a common reaction from the Cuvier tang?

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised of any tang attacking another tang of any species. Though it is less likely if the fishes are a genus removed. In your case a zebrazoma and an acanthurus. However there is no guarantee. I introduced a 2" paracanthurus hepatus to a 3" zebrazoma scopas and the scopas totally ignored the hippo tang probably thinking it is a damsel or something.
