I had read that you lose some functionality with the 6055's and a 7095 multicontroller, versus the controllable stream and a multicontroller. I was just wondering if that is true because I was thinking about upgrading my 90 gallon from 3 6025's to perhaps 2 or 3 6055's that are controllable.

It is not true, it is just that older 6055's would click when they started so it was a self inflicted limitation of some users who didn't want to hear a click on start up, they chose to not use any program that turned the pumps off and on. We have solved this and anyone with the older pumps just has to shoot me a PM and we can send the parts to fix it.
