I was wondering if you had done any research on mantis's and iodine levels? I was specifically wondering if adding supplemental low doses of iodine would help prevent molting fatalies.

just a thought, as I know shrimp are very high in iodine (I know stomatopods aren't shrimp) and I was wondering if iodine depletion would be part of the molting mortality problem.

Nope, no nutritional research of any kind that I am aware of has been conducted on stomatopods. My general experience is that supplements help, but I can't point to any particular elmements that might be particularly important.
