Question: My SPS look so much better in one day.

I did a major re aquascaping last night.
Virtually all my liverock have been moved and water was very cloudy after stirring 2-3 years old sandned.
I was worried about possible Ammonia, Nitrite or NO3 spike.

Today I just got back from work and check my tank.
Wow All my SPS became looking much colorful and darker overnight!

Can anyone explain this?
I use MB7 and biofuel. My Alk is around 8-9.

the bacteria in the sand and on the live rock were stirrer around thus feeding the sps corals, making them color up,

agreed.. small micron food source for your corals

Yes on the excess food, but you are right to be concerned with ammonia spikes so make sure to stay on your levels and be prepared for water changes if needed.
